Toms Give Event...Irvine Ca.

Hey'a gals...i thought to share what we did last weekend...Toms Give Event in Irvine Ca...(missy sportin' her toms bag she made for the event) & her new hand painted shoes!

The Give Event is a event put on by Toms to support their shoe givein' & has local artists come out and give their time hand painted custom Toms shoes!...it totally rocked...and i wouldn't miss it evah again! Toms Shoes are just a lil' somethin' that our family supports & makes us feel a part of something bigger in this world...givin' shoes to those in need in far off places! wow how cool is that!

So this last weekend we surprised miss lil' soccer chick...with the event...she was running around the house screamin' that she could go to this amazing event! She just about died! I love her joy & here she is seen with her local artist that so sweetly hand painted her shoes! Her choice was an ol' world look with her favorite scripture in the background and a totally rocken' cross...with rosary that flows from one shoe to the other...so cool!

We all have really taken heart to the Toms movement...It feels so good to be a small part of a very big vision...and we even got Daddy-o to buy two pair that day...we all kept sayin' your given a child new shoes

Now first off...as a mama it does my heart so good...that she loves what they stand for...far more than what the fashion of them are...Miss sweetie was interviewed by Toms...and her biggest joy wasn't the fashion...but that she hoped everyone who bought a pair of Tom's thought about the child who was gonna get the other pair as they were purchased! ahhh heart =)

Also how she earns her money actually doing hard work just so she can buy more Toms! Thats my girl believe in somethin' and go whole with your heart & all the way!!!

Now these are mine...I thought to have a fun Rockabilly pair! I love my name on them! And cherries, roses, crosses & the leopard!!! hello leopard my favorite... =)
I was very thankful to my artist...for makin' such a rocken' pair for me!

So needless to say...it was a great Give away day...Thank you Tom's again for makin memories in this kittens family...so alas this picture is in my baby chicks room...her Tom's layout...there are two more pairs not pictured cuz of course she's wearin' one & one is still new in the box...and there are three more of us...all wearin' Toms...Its such a great thing! Your heart feels so good...from just an ol pair of shoes!
