A bread maker how fun! Cant wait to hear how it goes and tastes!
Take care
love Darla
I havent' had much luck with my bread maker. Let me know how it turns out, I might be doing something wrong.
It was raining here this morning and it turned into snow for about half an hour!! :P
Love those shirts that you bought. Too cute and totally you!
I got a bread maker about 10 years ago. I do like it a lot but prefer the hand made bread still. of course, they may have improved over the years.
I'm sure you'll like yours a lot.
((Hugs))
Laura
Cat,
It sounds like you're in the spirit of the season already! I hope you enjoy your breadmaker, just measure and follow the directions it came with. Sometimes they can be hit or miss...I almost ordered a new one the other day too.
That blueberry crumble looks yummy!
Carey
I just adoooooooooooore your blog, everytime i come by to check it there's something new and sparklin' !
You sure inspire me, rock on doll!
I have that cakey dessert that you mentioned and it is so easy and it so ooo good..I love it..I use my bread maker to make pizza dough..and it will make 2 pizzas or calzones..so if you want the recipe let me know..take care..:)
Hi Cat..I use my breadmaker about every other day...can't remember the last time I bought a loaf of bread...I find it easy if I keep all my bread making stuff..flour, yeast, dry milk etc. in one place in the cupboard...you will be making it without having to refer to the recipe book in no time...
Hello Sweet Cat!
We just got back from Bend, Oregon! You can really get into the Fall mood there! Beautiful fall leaves, crisp, cold days and nights, fireplace going, candles light, roast in the oven...yes, I miss my daughter and her darling family!
How exciting to go "Thanksgiving camping"! Stay warm and cozy! Oh yeah, Daddy-O has the bullet blaster! Love your new t-shirts! I can picture you now all dolled up! Have a blast!
Hugs!
Maryjane
P.S. How is your little chick doing? xo
Hey, Cat! Happy Fall! I've got a wonderful 100% whole wheat bread machine recipe on my blog under Labels-->Recipes-->breads. It's the only bread recipe I ever use. I even make hoagie buns out of the dough last week. Take a peek if you're interested.
God Bless,
Jackie
Hey..I love that coat..I have one very much like it that I had from clear back in high school! The recipe is a delicious one I have made it with cherry..it is always so good! You guys keep warm..and Come say hi :D
Look at the two of you, so adorable- You guys ROCK!
Hi Cat, I've been a follower of your blog for a while and love it. I've been using a bread machine for about 15 years now and would definitely recommend using the dough cycle, removing the dough, forming into desired shapes and baking in a conventional oven. Comes out just like you did everything by hand plus its fun to try different shapes (crescents, knots, pizza dough, loaves, etc.). Be sure and use exact measurements, room temp ingredients and correct order. Good luck.
I love my bread maker and use it a couple of times a week. If you've never used one before it is probably best to start with the basic recipes that came with the machine before you try out recipes you find in books or on-line. Sometimes a bread that doesn't work out well baked in the machine will come out fine if you just have the machine make the dough and then bake the bread in your conventional oven. I do like the timer function on my machine, though. There is nothing like coming down to hot, fresh bread in the morning.
You guys are so rockin' cute together. You will love the bread machine, nothing smells better! Get the mixes at the grocery store, they are no fail--so easy! Also, I love the T-shirts, so cute, I'm going to check them out.
Cute, cute t-shirts! and "Oh My" is right! your blueberry pineapple cake sounds out of this world delish, and will go right to my hips! I'd eat it anyway. LOL.
Enjoy your day, we are getting our cold days now too.
Elizabeth
