helllllllooooooo honey...i'm home!...oooh kittens Valentines is upon us and girls i wanna post a lil' sassy 101! so sit back and kittens let's have a lil' kitten talk...
here is sweet mary lu and she is spick an span...but honey valentines is a special day, a very sassy day...so hmmmmmmm how do we get mary lu a lil' sassy you say?
first "WE CAN DO IT" ...yes we can...let's get the mind set...gals we are fabulous...and adorable...so lets make ourselves, feel good...mmmmmm...sassy ourselves right up for one rocken' valentines day!
why yes lets...lets find a special lil' number in that closet...lets pull out that fancy lil dream...oh and those shoes i never wear...oooooooh it's gonna be one rocken' night....find some gor~guss jewels...ladies lets make ourselves feel beautiful! we are worth it!why not kittens...we are wonderful just the how we are! lets put on that ol' special dress put a lil' red lipstick on...and feel WONDERFUL...not only for your big daddy...but for you! and what a puuurrrrrrrrfect day to do it! hmmmm... or week...can we do it...can we sass ourselves up with this challenge...do a special lil' thing for yourself each and every day for one week...hmmmmmm i think we kittens can!
now lets get a lil' inspiration...beautiful candy is a all ready...her hair is done and she has the most calm radiant look...hmmmmm how do we achieve that...set the stage!let's take care of ourselves...we kittens need some tlc...gals we rush around takin' care of our lil' kittens, our homes...we just don't always get the time...soooo let's do it now...we are special...slid into a hot bubble bath...place your favorite bubbles up to the top of the tub...have some sassy tunes playin...mmmmmm...time for you!
do the things that make you...sassy you! like paintin' those toes sassy red, slidin' into a lil' more than an ol tee to bed, or placin' a sweet flower in your hair...this is a great week to sass...lets all do it together...comment on how it feels and what you did...this is your week to feel sassy! Hey, Cat, sorry to disappoint, but this Hillbilly girl hates V-Day. Or I guess you could say every day is Valentines Day at our house.
BUT, I am happy about one thing! You've been postin' like crazy! I like checkin' in with you every day, and I like it that you're postin' more pictures of you and your vintage outfits.
oooh dear kathie...i used to hate v day...yep this kitten thought no way the stores just want you to buy more
...but when i started to see it as a sassy day and start thinkin' about...how i could shake myself up a bit and get out of a rut...even a good rut...well its so much fun...like a new years spruce this kitten up day!!!
i don't buy into the roses and chocolate...nope its all about havin' fun sassin' this kitten up...try it !!! you'll feel sooo good...cat

Fabulous idea Cat..a little extra effort will be worth it..it is also our 26th Wedding Anniversary on the 12th, so this is a big week for me...hehe..

I just found those pics inside yoru trailer, how wonderful. It is so pink and loverly. That is the style I am going to makeover my sewing room. I figure I will have one pink confectionary place to sit and sew and dream. Do you actually use your trailer for holidays an such, or is it just like an extra room for your home?

You got that right, mama! I painted my toes red last night and it's amazing how good it made me feel. And nothing beats red lipstick. It's a heartbreaker, isn't it?

Alright... Day #1 for me .. last night.
I took a nice hot bath and put a scrub on my (oh so nasty) feet. It felt great!
Tonight I'm going to shave the old legs that I must admit...have about 3 months winter growth on them.. (Hey I'm Canadian! It's mighty burrr up here! LOL)
I'm sure my Daddy-O will be oh so thankful to see the fur gone.

I LOVE painting my toes red...they look soooooooo pretty when their done. I'm all dressed today, with a skirt on and my pretty vintage blue pearls..one of the daycare children, (20 month old boy) oohed and awed over that necklace. I feel like a princess and waiting for my prince to come home!!

So, the winter growth is a thing of the past. Took two razors (I'm Italian, it could have been worse, believe me!) but it's all gone.
So this evening I'm thinking that I'll paint my toe nails. (Don't tell anybody but I still have a little bit on one big toe from last summer... )
This has been great for me. As you can tell, I don't usually spend too much time on myself.
Hope your week is going well. Daddy-O better be living up to his reputation as A-1 Valentines Day dude. ;)

I gave myself a pedicure last night.
Unfortunatly I did it downstairs while everyone was watching tv.
My daughter Gabby came along and asked.. "Mommy, will you do my feet too?" So of course I did. Then my 14 year old son asked if I'd (gulp) clip his toenails. Yep, I did it.
Then hubby waves his feet in my face and says.. "Baby, why don't you do my feet too?" Sigh.... So almost everyone ended up ended up with a pedicure. LOL Then my Daddy-O asked for a manicure. I just ignored him. hehehe..
Unfortunatly I didn't get the toenails painted but my tender tootsies are looking 100% better than they were this time last week!
Tonight my sister in law (who is also my BFF) and I are going to the movies. We almost always go on Tuesday nights. So I guess that's my me time for today. Nothing like an evening of complaining and laughing to recharge my battery.

Well the movie was terrible (He's Just Not That Into You) but I had a great time with my Sil.
I love getting out with her. She had been in Mexico last week so we hadn't seen each other in almost 2 weeks. Lot's to catch up on.
Tonight I've been spending the evening watching some tv shows that I had taped on my PVR. Stuff that I haven't had a chance to watch.
It's been lovely.
I'm thinking that tommorow I'll give myself a facial.....

I was thinking of you yesterday!
I was in an antique shop browsing. I noticed some clothing hanging from a rack at the back of the store.
Oh man... I found one vintage dress... so beautiful. A tight fitted top half.. long sleeves and and flared out at the waist with a full skirt. I wanted to buy it soooo badly but it was like $200.00 and there is no way I can justify it. LOL
But.... I really, really wanted it. I should have tried it on and had my picture taken in it.. just to show you! It was so beautiful.
